Hand-built from light stoneware clay, this ceramic vessel was expertly cut to size, carved with artist Xavier Orloff’s signature “Cityscape” pattern, and shaped into its eye-catching form. The grooves were carefully glazed in a blue Shino and the whole pot was sprayed with a coat of a lighter-hued Shino glaze before being fired in a reduction fire atmosphere, resulting in sleek, artful colors.
